The Dri-Eaz DrizAir 1200 is a refrigerant dehumidifier that can remove up to 145 pints of water per day at saturation and 64 pints per day under the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) test conditions of 80 degrees F and 60% relative humidity (RH). This dehumidifier has an operating temperature range of 33 – 100 degrees F, draws 6.4 amps on a 115V power supply, and processes air at a rate of up to 227 cubic feet per minute (CFM). Display panel languages include Spanish, German, French, and English. The pump basin is attached to a 40' hose for removal of condensate across wide spaces. This dehumidifier has a 25' power cord for access to a power supply across large spaces. The unit has a built-in duct attachment ring for use with Dri-Eaz layflat polyvinyl ducting (sold separately) to facilitate control of air circulation and drying efficiency. Its rotomolded polyethylene housing provides consistent wall thicknesses and strong outside corners for resistance to damage and leaks. Up to two DrizAir 1200 models can be stacked for efficient use of storage space. This dehumidifier has a rigid, telescoping handle and semi-pneumatic wheels to facilitate transport. It uses a 3M HAF Filter (included) to protect internal components from dirt (replacement filters sold separately). Intertek Testing Services, a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) using Edison Testing Laboratory (ETL) safety standards, has certified this product to Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standard for safety for dehumidifiers UL 474, and to Canadian Standards Association (CSA) 22.2 no. 92 standard for dehumidifiers. It also is verified by the AHAM for water removal capacity and energy factor. Dehumidifiers remove moisture from the air. They are commonly used for drying applications in the cleaning, building maintenance, and restoration industries, and to control the humidity levels in office or homes. A refrigerant dehumidifier uses the same kind of refrigeration technologies found in air-conditioning systems. It condenses water vapor into water. The water, also called condensate, is pumped automatically out of the DrizAir 1200 into a drain, sink or out a window. It works most effectively in warm, moist conditions. Dri-Eaz manufactures dehumidifiers, air movers, structural drying systems, and air scrubbers for water damage restoration applications, and for the drying, cleaning, and building maintenance industries. Manufacturing for the company, established in 1980, is based in Burlington, WA.
