The San Jamar SI5000 Saf-T-Scoop and Guardian System consists of a dishwasher safe, tinted blue polycarbonate ice serving scoop for filling 6 oz. to 10 oz. glasses and a holder that can be mounted in wire hanging brackets, with a bracket and suction cups, or by permanently installing the bracket (fasteners not included). The scoop has handle guards to reduce hand contact with ice when scooping from an ice machine or bin. The mountable holder surrounds the scoop to keep it clean, has a hole on the bottom to allow water to drain and provide airflow for drying, and comes with an optional drain hole cover to help prevent dripping. The scoop's domed scoop shape pours more accurately than flat bottom scoops. This system meets NSF International/American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) Standard 2 - Food Equipment requirements for food processing environments, including refrigerators, freezers, and warewashing areas. The scoop carries 6 to 10 oz. (177 to 295 mL) of ice and is suitable for use in bars and restaurants.
